The main resort on the North Shore is Turtle Bay Resort which is a great option especially if you are traveling with kids. This is my Mom’s favorite beach on the North Shore and we have spent A LOT of time here. When my brother and I were kids, we spent many summers visiting family on Oahu. If it was a weekday, then we would most likely be up on the North Shore, and usually at Waimea. We are totally against disrespect, abuse and disempowerment of our Taonga, the living historians and gatekeepers of our past.
